Peter was first initiated into the Lodge of Finsbury No 861 in 1986. He worked his way up to Worshipful Master and had his ladies night with Janet by his side in 1993. He decided to go through the chair again and in 2000 was again Worshipful Master and this time had his ladies night with Mandy by his side. He was promoted to London Grand Rank in 1999 and this was something he was extremly proud of. He called it being made "Chief Poo Bear" so Mandy brought him just that to commemorate the occasion, a Winnie the Poo Bear! He then joined Medway Lodge No 1678 on 22 May 2002 After helping out by filling various offices on a last minute basis, he thought he would like to progress to be Master of the Lodge. In 2010 he was appointed Inner Guard. After being a guest at the Pickwick Lodge No 2467, he decided to become a member in 2009 when the lodge of Finsbury amalgamated with Lillistone Manor Lodge No 8030. He spent many hours learning from his little book! Peter enjoyed his time with his fellow freemasons and the way that he could socalise as well as help raise money for good causes.
